Free executive function workshops coming up at Newton Free Library

Newton Youth Services invites you to join Dan Levine and Melissa Wilson of Engaging Minds, an after school learning center with locations in Newton and Wayland, for a workshop designed specifically for parents and students together.

Participants will learn strategies to help your student better manage nightly homework, planning and time management strategies for both short-term and long-term assignments – and for life, strategies to help your student get “unstuck” when he/she has trouble initiating tasks, and organizational strategies to help your student keep track of papers, assignments, and belongings, and more! This workshop is free and open to the public.

  • Middle school families’ session: November 13, 6:30-8:00 p.m.
  • High school families’ session: December 7, 6:30-8:00 p.m.

Both events will take place in Druker Auditorium in the Newton Free Library.
