Music-filled evening to support Newton North & South High School music students on Friday, November 30, 7:00 p.m.

Newton North and Newton South High Schools are collaborating to offer a special night of jazz music to support the Newton Music Ambassadors Scholarship Fund (NMA) on Friday, November 30.

A variety of jazz ensembles from both Newton North and Newton South High Schools will provide live entertainment. Light appetizers and a cash bar will be available.

Newton South music teacher Lisa Linde and Newton North's Richard Labedz created NMA to empower their students to go beyond the classroom. NMA will support students in pursuit of music enrichment opportunities such as travel for performances, private music lessons, and summer music camps. Funds raised from this event will directly benefit Newton high school music students and position them to serve as ambassadors to positively impact the world around them through music.

The event will take place on Friday, November 30, 2018, 7-10:00 p.m., at the American Legion Nonantum Post 440, 295 California St, Newton. Ticket prices are $25/adult, $10/student and can be purchased at newtonmusicambassadors.seatyourself.biz. Questions: Email newtonmusicambassadors@gmail.com.
