NNHS FORJ hosts community meeting January 30, 6:30 p.m.

Please join Newton North Families Organizing for Racial Justice (FORJ) on Wednesday, January 30, 6:30-8:00 p.m., in the International Cafe (first floor, NNHS), for an evening of food, fellowship, and learning. We are planning a pitch-in meal to share, as well as a viewing of short videos on anti-bias topics, with time for discussion and planning next steps.

Please R.s.v.p. and let us know what you plan to bring using the Sign-up Genius link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/904084EAEAF22A75-jan

FORJ is a city-wide initiative for families interested in advancing discussions of race, culture, and identity in our schools. FORJ groups have been meeting in NPS elementary schools since last year. We are excited to grow this initiative to Newton North.

Everyone is welcome! This meeting will offer parents/guardians an opportunity to meet with others from North who want to work on strengthening our communities and increasing conversations about racism and anti-bias efforts in our community and our society.

We look forward to seeing you on January 30th!
