Transition Fair set for May 1, 6:30 p.m.

The annual Transition Fair is coming up on Wednesday, May 1, from 6:30-8:00 p.m., in the cafeteria at Newton North. The fair will feature 35+ organizations and two mini-sessions. 

  • 6:45 p.m.: Questions about internet and social media safety?Hear a presentation by NPS staff to  about common concerns and effective strategies to support transition-age youth to safely navigate the internet and various social media sites/apps.
  • 7:15 p.m.: Questions about financial planning and savings? Hear a presentation by Mary Rubenis from MEFA to hear more about the Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Savings Plan, a new way of saving for expenses of eligible individuals with disabilities.
