"Many smiling faces on Monday"--Operation Bold Paint volunteers add color, boost morale

Energetic volunteers gathered at Newton North on Sunday, April 28, 2019, for the eighth annual Operation Bold Paint; they left the building having refreshed a dozen classrooms and offices. Stated Principal Henry Turner, "Thank you for your hard work with Newton Serves. The newly painted spaces look fantastic, and there were many smiling faces on Monday."

Operation Bold Paint was masterminded by unflappable co-chairs Andrew Hargens and Shawna Slack. Their efforts are greatly appreciated! Wellbridge Physical Therapy generously provided free mini-massages and pizza for volunteers.

Thank you to Anna Ford for collecting and organizing all of the room requests; Joel Bloom and Millicent Lawton for overseeing volunteers and keeping the lines of communication open; Honda Village and Wellbridge PT for sponsoring refreshments; and custodial staff for providing support.
