Vice Principal Amy Winston shares reminders for Thanksgiving week

Spirit Week is Monday through Wednesday.

  • Monday – pajama day
  • Tuesday – red, white, and blue day
  • Wednesday – Tiger Pride day
  • Wednesday – 11:15am Pep Rally in the gym

Wednesday, November 22, is a half day with an 11:00 a.m. dismissal.

  • A2 (long) 7:50-9:00 a.m., B2 9:05-10:00 a.m., E2 10:05-11:00 a.m.
  • Buses at 11:10 a.m. (this is the only bus running today)
  • NO late buses

Thanksgiving Weekend is a No Homework Weekend. We hope all students will enjoy a long weekend with friends and/or family.

Deadline to apply for class of 2018 scholarships is January 26, 2018

The NNHS Scholarship Application for the class of 2018 is now online. Click here to apply or find the application on the NNHS website under the Announcements section and under the Families Tab entitled "2018 NNHS Senior Scholarship Application."

The due date is Friday, January 26, 2018.

Completing his application will make you eligible for more than 300 scholarships that NNHS awards. Most scholarships are need based.

Library Learning Commons to host open house during conferences on December 5, 2:00-5:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, December 5, from 2:00-5:00 p.m., we would like to invite parents/guardians to the Library Learning Commons (LLC) for our Parent Night Open House. Visit the LLC during your free block to learn more about what the library teachers do and what resources we have. Here are some highlights.

New Philharmonia Orchestra holiday program set for December 10 at 3:00 p.m.

On Sunday, December 10, at 3:00 p.m., the New Philharmonia Orchestra will present their annual holiday program CELEBRATIONS! at the First Baptist Church in Newton Centre (848 Beacon Street). This family-friendly concert will feature the All City Treble Singers performing holiday classics; students from the Boston Ballet School, Newton Studio, will dance to excerpts from "The Nutcracker." Following the concert will be our always popular Instrument Petting Zoo!
