Newton North grad Shawn Reddy wins Oscar Gown competitionRobin Roberts wore NNHS Graduate Shawn Reddy's eggplant-colored gown to the Oscars Sunday night.

Of the 40,000 people who logged into the ABC web site to vote on the winning gown, over half voted for Shawn's creation.

The spring SAT test information

The spring SAT test dates are March 13, May 1 and June 5, 2010.

There are two test centers at Newton South - Goodwin 22575 and Wheeler 22572.

The March 13 test date is for the reasoning test only.

The Wheeler Center is nearly full, but there are plenty of seats available in the Goodwin Center.

Newton South High School juniors Rachel Davidson and Sammie Levin are collecting new and "gently worn" prom dresses, purses and shoes to donate to Becca's Closet, a global non-profit that provides formal attire to high school students with financial need.

Students in Pilot Program at NNHS are collecting donations for the people in Haiti

As you know, the people in Haiti continue to struggle after the numerous earthquakes that have hit the country. The students in Pilot Program at NNHS are collecting donations, on behalf of Newton North High School, to the Red Cross to help the people of Haiti.

We would greatly appreciate any donation that you can provide. With 1,800 students in the school, the Newton North community could help the people of Haiti significantly.
